My custom Nike's came!

Yeahh they came!! Other than Macbeth shoes (and the occasional pair of Vans slip-ons)..Nike's are the only brand of shoe I wear and I <3 them. I've ordered custom Nike's before but these are my favourite by far. I designed them to match the new Smoothies Are Rawrsome sweatshirt which is my favourite Livid Thorn product this winter and they have Livid Thorn all up the side of them (of course). I always get Dunks and Cez gets Air Force 1's. These are my favourite ever now though, my favourite color is purple and blue is a close second...so win's all around.

Watching Friends!

So I've been working my way through all the Friends Seasons recently. I'm up to Season 5 now (as you can see).. I took that picture about 2 mins ago! I always felt like I'd never watched that many episodes of Friends, yet whenever I catch it on TV..I've always already seen it. Haha. So I figured I'd have a Friends marathon whilst in the office and at home. I've been working on a lot of design lately, and I always love to have a good TV show on, or a good movie (if I'm not listening to music). I guess stuff like that is kind of like inspiration! It helps me work anyway. But it's also about the only chance I get to watch stuff. I wish I did have time to actually stop once in a while and sit down to watch something, but then I love what I do and I still get to watch awesome TV..so winwin!!

My favourite character in Friends has to be Monica. She's just too much like me, Cez finds it funny how much we're alike! I'm probably as neurotic as she is with tidiness though to be fair. Chandler's pretty funny though.

Reading Twilight Books!

Look what came in the mail for me the other day! New Moon! I took this picture about 5 mins ago. So as you can see I'm at home right now in my room.

I'd had this book on order for so long I'd almost forgotten.. and then it came through my door. That book is actually meaning I hardly get any sleep ever! I already stay up until 2am most nights running my company. But on top of that..I'm now reading until 4am and then up at 8am! I don't usually get time to fit in reading (and if fact I probably don't have time right now either) but I loveloveloved that movie and now I wanna read all of the books.

I know you guys have probably already read it a million times over. But don't spoil it for me! I'm only about a quarter of the way through! Lol.

Eating Things!

I decided to dedicate this whole entry to cute food I like! My latest picture actually shows me eating my first ever bowl of Lucky Charms!

I know you guys in the US can't believe I've never had them before..but they're really rare here in the UK, and they cost loads more too because they're imported all the way here! I'm a sucker for awesome packaging though. I love bright colors and cute graphics.

I'm currently obsessed with Smarties Bars. They seem to have re-appeared on the shelves in the shops. When I was in college they were in a machine and I pretty much bought one every day. I don't know why I never put on weight from eating so much crap..Cez is always saying that! I really do live on junk food though. It's probably gonna catch up with me when I'm about 40!

I love typically American packaging. It's always so shiny and happy. Ben & Jerrys is the epitome of American-goodness.

I also managed to find some Willy Wonka's Nerds aswell! They sell them in Selfridges...along with the Lucky Charms. I used to have these when I was a kid. I remember they used to have them at School Disco's in a little tuck-shop. I probably only went to the disco to grab these tasty treats..

Cez bought me a tonnnnnn of Nerds for Christmas. They're awesome. You should definitely try them if you can get hold of them somewhere. I love vintage old-style packaging too. I always keep tins of Lyle's Golden Syrup. They just look too classy to be recycled and made into a crummy soda can!

I've got a whole book about old food packaging. Most of the stuff in it is from 1950s America. There's some more modern candy in there. I know that if I visited the US..I'd end up spending all my money on cute candy!

I think my love for cute food and packaging inspires a lot of my design work as well. Especially this shirt I designed for Livid Thorn:

Anyway..to finish off..here's a load of other nice candy I love.

Photoshoot and Christmas Gifts!

So I actually picked up Buzznet pretty quick! Made myself a cute layout and I've uploaded my first Buzznet exclusive picture, which is this one..

This picture is actually a sneak preview of the new pics that we're gonna be putting on the new Livid Thorn site. The new site is in progress and we're hoping to launch it within the next 1-2 months. It's gonna be bigger, better and overall more fun! We do love fun here at Livid Thorn. We had so much fun doing the photoshoot for the picture above. I ended up eating that lollipop afterwards too, haha. It was actually a lollipop that Cez had bought me agees ago as a gift.

Speaking of gifts..here's some of the awesome vinyl toys Cez bought me for Christmas this year. My little Mozzarella is adorable (he's the cow-like one). Lol at the fact that I set up a mini-photoshoot for them. I love taking pictures.

Anyway, we've just had a MASSIVE delivery here at the Livid Thorn office, and we've got about a days worth of garments to check over and fold up. We're also dispatching hundreds of pre-orders that we received in the last day. Exciting times in the world of Livid Thorn..so stay tunedd!

Hii Buzznet!

Hey guys! Well I figured I'd set up a Buzznet account to get to know some more awesome people, so here I am! I just thought I'd introduce myself a little first.

If you didn't already know..my name is Nat Wood and I am the co-owner of Livid Thorn Clothing. I am a graphic designer, illustrator, animator, web designer, and a model. So yes, I am amazing at multi-tasking!..isn't every girl though?!

Anyway, I'm going to be uploading a lot of pictures. Some of them will be ones that have never been posted anywhere before. There will be photoshoots, as well as videos I'll make exclusively for you guys, and loads of other fun stuff. This is also a great way for you to keep updated about what's going on in the world of Livid Thorn.
